| INTERESTED IN LEARNING MORE ABOUT MEMBERSHIP? We welcome the opportunity to share FCCs vision and history with you at one of our regularly scheduled Inquirer's Classes. This is an excellent time to ask questions about Membership in a welcoming and informal atmosphere and meet others who are looking for a new church home. There will also be opportunities to share your personal faith experiences. At these meetings our Senior Minister, Budd Friend-Jones will discuss First Congregational Church, what to expect as a member, and how you can find ways to CONNECT with others and CONTRIBUTE to the life of the church. The meeting lasts about an hour and a supper or light snack will be provided. Please contact Julie at 815-459-6010 ext. 30 to find out about the next meeting. |
| Fellowship Circles |
) Fellowship Circles are small groups of member individuals or families that meet for fellowship throughout the year. Activities range depending on the interests of the group but may include: concerts, cook-outs, retreats, progressive suppers, community service projects and always lots of laughter. Some of the Circles at FCC have been together for decades-celebrating the milestones of life: births, graduations, weddings and even funerals. If you would like to learn more about Fellowship Circles or be a part of a small group at FCC, please contact Julie Schullian. |
